B36 from Fantail of USS Kawishiwi AO-146
on Armed Forces Day, May 1955
... Wait for Sound :)

The B36 was the last prop. bomber used by the USAF,
and one that never saw any "war" action.
...
The B36 was chosed by the Air Force instead of the XB35 to perform nuclear attack tasks,
in the mid or late 50s. But neither the B36 had stood in this area for a long time, because its place was soon takes by an bomber custom made to perform nuclear bombardments : the B47.
